Fabian Lanzmaier works with sound and music, both as a solo artist and in various formations. He composes and develops music and sound environments for installations, theater, performance and film. In his work, he is interested in the abstract materiality of sound and its presence in space. He works with synthesis and sampling techniques and combines organic sound structures with stochastic cut-ups.
