Jakob Schauer is a sound artist, musician and producer of electroacoustic music and experimental sounds. He studied Computer Music and Electronic Media (ELAK) at the MDW Vienna, Engineering and Media Technology at the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences and Digital Art at the Academy of Applied Arts.
He has played numerous live performances, including tours in Southeast Asia, and has worked with Tobias Leibetseder, Conny Zenk, Katharina Klement, Thomas Gorbach, Hui Ye, Jakob Gnigler, Stefan Voglsinger and many others. As a sound artist, he has shown his installations in various exhibitions, including a permanent installation at echoraum, Vienna.
